OPENING FOR A POSTDOC POSITION IN THEORETICAL PARTICLE PHYSICS
The Department of Physics at the University of Milano-Bicocca
invites applications for a two-year postdoc position in theoretical
particle physics, starting in the fall of 2013. String theory is the
area of research
with the highest priority for this job.
The successful applicant must have a Ph.D in theoretical physics.

Milano-Bicocca consists of eight faculties and three INFN staff members.
Current research interests of the group include astroparticle and cosmology,
high-energy phenomenology, lattice gauge theory and string theory. The
research of the group is
funded by national and european projects and by an ERC starting grant.
The physics department of Milano-Bicocca counts approximatively
35 faculty, many postdocs and graduate students. Its particle
physics groups participate to the CMS and LHCb experiments at LHC, to the
CUORE experiment at LNGS and to AMS.
